Since moving back to Pittsburgh two weeks ago I've actually seen my artist Jim quite a few times. I think it'll be good to be in the same city to get this little "funny book" back on track. We met at a coffee shop a few days ago and we were talking about the comic. I told him about a few ideas I had and he immediately grabbed a piece of paper and threw down some thumbnail sketches.

Yes, I think it'll be really good not to be living 500 miles apart:) I'll keep you posted everybody, thanks for listening.

After leaving Jim 5 messages in as many days he finally calls yesterday. I guess he's in one of those "Go to work, sleep, repeat" funks right now. He also says he's got a package for me. And this said package has something I better "frame". If he ever gets around to sending it I'll post it here first.

I'm not giving up, he's the co-creator of this little funnybook and I can't wait to see what this mysterious shipment is.

I am getting a little disheartened though. *sigh*

Well, Jim's computer officially died on him today. He's trying to get a replacement from a friend of his so he can send me some artwork for "Small Man in Big World", but it doesn't look good for our heroes. He's been having problems with it for quite some time now, I think he was expecting this to happen at some point.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

When the new art does come in, I'll post it here first.

The Comic is coming along slowly but surely. I've been writing strips and character histories and Jim's been pencilling away as fast as his little hands can carry him. By my calculations the comic and the website should be ready to go by the end of the year.

I know it's a little early to be talking about it, but Jim & I are pretty excited. This is our first webcomic project and we want to make sure that it doesn't, well, suck! We'll be posting more updates as time goes by, along with some artwork, rants, or just anything that pops into our respective heads. I've set up a gallery of early concept art here if you want to check that out.

Take care everybody.

-Seth Fronzoli
Poverty Row Comics
